UPGRADE TO URGENT SMS REPORT


At Last Check, we are committed to sending you the inspection reports within 24 hours of the inspection however it is not always the case. Sometimes we need more information to include in your report and some reports such as supercar inspection and some luxury car inspections will be sent a nit later.

If you are in a hurry for any reason or if your seller is pushing you for a quick answer, we will assign more staff and work with you so that you get the report as a priority.

By upgrading to urgent reports, it is guaranteed that you will receive the report mostly on the same day of the inspection and definitely before the start of business hours on the next day.

Upgrading to the urgent reports can potentially expedite the inspection day as well however this is not guaranteed as we only perform specialised inspections and we need to have the right inspector available for you. It also depends on the seller’s date and time preference if you have ordered a prepurchase inspection.

URGENT REPORTS ARE SENT BY SMS & EMAIL


We will make every effort so that you receive the report as urgently as possible. As soon as your report is ready and before we prepare the email, you will receive the report link via SMS.

The link we send you is a safe Dropbox link exclusive to you which means you can click on it and have no worries. If you sleep early, ensure you put the phone on silent so that the text message sound does not disturb you.



WHEN SHOULD YOU EXPECT THE NORMAL REPORTS?


Within 24 hours of the inspection and not earlier than 10.30 AM of the next day. Reports will come in the right order, the earlier the inspection has been done, the earlier the report will be received.

10.30 AM is the rough time that the first inspection of the day has been fully completed.

Please Note: the inspection does not end when the inspector leaves the location. All normal and premium inspections will continue around an hour or more after the inspection.

Not to disturb the vehicle owner, our inspectors leave and prepare the draft notes in their vehicles which we turn into the written report for the client.

Normal reports will be sent out within 24 hours after the inspection. For example, if your inspection has commenced on Monday at 3 PM and finished at 4.30 PM, you should expect the report in your inbox before 4.30 PM on Tuesday.

Now, if you have chosen a premium plan that must be done by TWO inspectors, add another 4 hours to your inspection time which makes the expected time before 8.30 PM.

For premium plans, another senior inspector in the office will go through the sensitive computer data extracted from the ECU to ensure the vehicle does not have any hidden faults which takes around 4 hours after the inspection. The normal reports however will be sent by the latest 24 hours of the inspection time which means you might get the report before the due time but not earlier than 10.30 AM on the following day.

WHEN SHOULD YOU EXPECT THE URGENT REPORT?


Between 8.00 PM on the inspection day and 6 AM on the next day however some urgent reports will be received as early as 7 PM on the inspection day.

Even if you have ordered a premium inspection plan which needs to be done by TWO inspectors, you will still get the urgent report earlier than 6 AM the next day.

Please note that urgent reports are also processed in the right order. The earlier the inspection time has been, the sooner the urgent report is sent out however all urgent reports are processed before the normal reports without exception.

For example, if the first urgent report has been done at 7 AM, that urgent report will be sent out earlier in the evening and before the inspection that has been done at 9 AM.



90% OF URGENT REPORTS WILL BE SENT BETWEEN 8.00 PM & 12.00 AM ON THE SAME DAY!


Suppose we have a total of 50 bookings on a certain day including your inspection, if your report is marked as urgent, we will assign overtime to our reporters to stay back and send your report before the normal reports.

We have a dedicated team of senior reporters and supervisors who do night shifts so that we never delay any urgent reports.

Around 90% of all urgent reports are sent the same evening after 8.00 PM and before 12.00 AM. Even if there is more work to be done, we still stay back overnight to ensure you will receive the report before the next morning's business hours.


GUARANTEED URGENT REPORTS BY THE LATEST 6 AM


All urgent reports are received by the sent by the latest 6 AM on the next day, this is our guarantee!

This is our commitment that you receive your written report before the start of business hours of the next day in case the seller is in a hurry to seal the deal or someone else is going to buy the vehicle.

We always have rare exceptions, however. If we need extra information to ensure your report is completely accurate, we will take no chances which might delay the report however it is very rare and we rectify almost all the doubts on the day of inspection.



URGENT REPORTS ARE NOT FOR PROFIT!


To facilitate urgent reports, we need to assign extra staff for evening and night shifts which will be an extra cost to us but we still do it so that you feel the difference in customer service. We charge a small fee to cover that cost however it normally does not cover our extra resources cost.

We still try our best to send out the reports in less than 24 hours and we encourage everyone to wait for their report as normal however if your condition does not allow you, we try our best to assist.


ORDER IF YOU REALLY NEED THE REPORT URGENTLY


Urgent reports are a cost to us and the client, so we encourage everyone to see if an urgent report is something they really need or it is ok to wait for 24 hours to receive the normal report which in most cases it will take less.

Please also note that as much as we try, urgent reports are not always possible to book. If you cannot choose the urgent report on the booking form online or if our operator advises you on the phone, unfortunately, we can not send the report urgently.

We however try to work with you if your condition does not allow you to wait.


HOW TO ORDER AN URGENT REPORT?


If you are booking online, you can choose to mark your report as urgent on the booking form. If you want to make a phone booking, you can just let us know over the phone and we will act accordingly.

CHECK YOUR EMAIL SPAM & JUNK FOLDER

Please note that based on your email provider and settings, the report sometimes goes to your spam or junk mail and it is out of anyone’s control. It can also go to your archives or any other email folder you have other than your inbox.

Ensure you do not only check your inbox, rather check all other folders to ensure you have not missed the report we have sent you.



SILENCE YOUR PHONE IF YOU SLEEP EARLY


We are dedicated to sending the urgent reports as a priority and sometimes your report finishes after midnight. If you are a person who sleeps early or has young babies, please ensure you put your phone on silent so that we don’t disturb you.

We will never call you, but your report might be sent via SMS that might wake you up if your phone ring tone is loud.



HOW LONG DO WE ARCHIVE THE REPORTS FOR?


We keep all the reports in our database for a maximum of 6 months after the inspection so that in case you lose your report we can assist. After this 6 month period, the reports will automatically be deleted from our system and there will be no way to recover them at a later stage.
