All European vehicles are inspected by a European vehicle mechanic, Asian, Australian and American cars are the same, they only get done by someone completely familiar with the make and model.
The inspection plan that you have chosen directly determines who inspects the vehicle for you. For example, if you have chosen a premium plan such as Premium Car Inspection 500 Point or Performance Car Inspection 600 Point, a senior European mechanic will be appointed to do the job since these plans include extra tests that no normal mechanic can do.
If you have chosen a normal plan such as Normal Car Inspection 300 Point, still a European mechanic will be appointed but the mechanic does not necessarily have the knowledge of the senior mechanic appointed to perform a premium package.
It is important to choose the right plan especially if the vehicle you are buying is expensive or is considered luxury such as BMW, Mercedes Benz, Audi, Lexus, Etc.
At Last Check, we have gathered the best and most senior mechanics in town who cannot be compared with normal mechanics. Although all our inspectors are fully qualified mechanics, they still must undergo intense training courses, pass complicated knowledge tests, pass the super-advanced computer diagnostic workshops, pass paint and rust recognition tests, etc that an ordinary mechanic does not even understand.
As each inspection is only done by the right specialist, when someone makes a booking, we automatically appoint the right inspector to do the job and under no circumstances a different mechanic will be appointed.
We train qualified mechanics with between 5 to 10 years of experience through a system of online and hands-on training courses and qualify them as inspectors. We have a dedicated team of auto engineers and mechanic trainers to take up this meticulous task which not everyone can qualify for.
Each mechanic needs to pass several knowledge tests, computer diagnosis quizzes and many more tasks in order to qualify as an inspector.

This is our Guarantee at all times that your inspection gets done only by the right specialist. For example, if you have a Mercedes Benz, we never appoint a Toyota Inspector to inspect the vehicle even if we are very busy.
If you have booked an inspection and the right specialist is not available, we will postpone the inspection until the right inspector becomes available and give you the first available spot but if the wait time for the inspector’s availability is longer than usual, we will inform you and issue you a full refund.

As much as we do not want our valued clients to be disappointed and receive a refund, we can never do an unprofessional inspection and give them the wrong advice.
This is very important for all our clients to understand this as this is only to ensure they get the correct advice and not to waste their money on something that we cannot completely provide.
If we ever appoint a non-specialist inspector, such as a Toyota Inspector to inspect a BMW, not only the inspector does not have the necessary knowledge to understand the car, but he does also not have the right tools to fully inspect the car either.
Even the diagnostic computer varies for some cars and in many cases, different cars are diagnosed by different computers so there will be no point to charge the client and not being able to provide the right service.
You will be informed both when booking online or when you call us to book an inspection.
For online booking, if the right inspector is not available, you will see a note on the booking form after you enter the vehicle details and the booking form disables the payment section so that you do not get charged.
The same thing happens over the phone as well. We will inform you if we do not have the right inspector available for your preferred inspection time frame.
Sometimes when you make a booking, the inspector is available but then they might become unavailable because of sickness, family issues or anything else like all of us.
As soon as we are notified that the inspector has become unavailable, we will contact the client and inform them. We can advise the expected wait time and if the client is ok, we will do the job at a later date but if we have no scope of the inspector’s return date, we will issue the client a full refund.
So be reassured that either a specialist will do your job or you will receive a full refund from us.
